About

Cheri Regis (also known as Cher Bear and many other names) is a multimedia artist, designer, writer and entrepreneur living and working in historic downtown Parkville, Missouri, in Kansas City’s Northland region. She is the founder of her namesake Cheri Regis Works, an online art, craft and design studio that specializes in contemporary modern art and crafts for everyone of all ages. A second generation toy designer, Cheri is known for her unique approach to soft toys, beloved by everyone. When she’s not behind the easel or the sewing machine, Cheri enjoys reading, writing, going on long hikes and wreaking havoc (whenever and wherever she can). Cheri is a senior currently pursuing dual degrees in Fine Art and Business Administration (emphasis in Digital Marketing) at Park University in Parkville.

Mine and CRW’s Philosophy

My philosophy on contemporary art, craft and design is simply this: that skilled hands, a passionate heart and an indomitable spirit are the collaborative team that make the magic happen and work. Without thought informed by the world’s surroundings and its inhabitants, there is no collaboration, diversity, lived experience and input. From paintings to crafts, everything is made with patience, a steady hand and a thoughtful mind. My role is to create and provide long lasting innovative art, craft and design that will not only inform and educate all, but embolden all in the years to come and stand the test of time. Personal Statement

From early childhood to the present, artistry and creativity have been forces that have proven to be formidable and inseparable from me. Born and raised in a large creative professional family, I am fortunate that I am not the only one in my clan that relishes and practices creativity on a daily basis. With over 20 years of artistic experience and 10 years of small business and retail experience, I bring a background that began as a pastime and has now evolved into a professional lifetime commitment.
